Nigel Barker

Nigel Barker is currently one of the most famous fashion photographers in the world. As a judge on "America's Next Top Model," his work is very popular. Barker’s photographs are avant garde and are usually themed. He experiments with different types of lighting, and his photographs usually contain radiant colors. This always results in striking, bold images. The following two photographs are examples of Barker's work.

Jake Garn

Jake Garn is a whimsical fashion photographer. Purchasing his first professional camera only eight years ago, he quickly transformed his former interest in photography into a real passion. Because I love fashion so much, I am particularly drawn to Jake Garn. However, he is much more than the average fashion photographer. His unique, whimsical style and vivid color palette transforms his photographs into gorgeous, eye-popping works of art. My favorite photograph by Jake Garn is called Sweet/ Sour. The vibrant colors and creative use of candy make this an innovative, avant garde photograph.

This is another one of my favorite Jake Garn photographs. Also avant garde and colorful, this photograph contains an assortment of texture as well, while maintaining a whimsical sense.
